Woke up to beautiful, cool weather. I'm SOOOO pleased. My room was too hot last night---left the house opened all day and it was 80 degrees in my room all night---had to run the fan which I hate.
The office was busy yesterday and we really didn't get home very early, so I'm behind on house cleaning with good friends, Sylvia and Vern, coming later today. I'm making a taco salad this morning so I can have time to visit and not cook.
The plant above is about 4' high and outside my office window. It was a potted houseplant given by one of our favorite patients, Susie, as a housewarming gift. It wandered around the yard trying to find a spot it liked---finally found all shade except first thing in the morning---it's about to break forth in hundredres of blooms (little star bursts on long strings). Since neither Doc nor I are very good with plants, it's size and beauty are amazing! Thanks, Susie.
No word on George's lab tests yet, but we're suspecting it's going to come back e. coli. Heather's still feeling puny, too. Well, I'd best hit the housework trail before company comes.
