This is the new Roku (Netflix Player) and AV Switching equipment. A little complicated, but now working correctly. So far, it's been worth the money and time as we are able to watch cartoons and movies without waiting for the mail to go back and forth. It's not as good as satellite or cable, but beats not having anything by a long shot.
Today was an interesting day. I decided to work on the VA application...all 17 pages. Heather came down to help. The two little ones napped and the bigger boys got to use my computer (not a hard ship for them). We found all the colleges and units and got them entered and completed that section. We found about half the employer records and got started entering them. Nasty job. When we lost the computer files, I lost my most recent resume, so that will be an adventure when I finish the application as a resume has to go with it all.
The fire over by Paradise supplied some more 'excitement' today. Praise the Lord for his graciousness to friends whose houses were spared. God is good. Most people that we know were fine if not somewhat traumatized by the evacuations. We don't have any bad air quality over here (at least not yet), but can see how bad that much smoke would be for people whether they have breathing troubles or not.
Roger and Spencer are headed to a gun class tomorrow with other friends Supposed to be a long day as they have to be at the church to meet up around 7a tomorrow. I'm headed down to the Bay Area for a wedding shower, so we're all going to be spending some time in cars.
We are all praying for the firefighters, the people who live in Paradise and especially, for those folks who have lost homes in the fire.
