I think she was hoping for more of a streaked affect than the solid areas, but she loved the color and it's obviously a fun thing that she's enjoying.
We headed to the ear ring store and she bought some adorable pink paper clips with rhinestones that match the hair.
Another great accomplishment today was to get Storm to his first vet visit...he did well on the ride to Redding, but decided to freak out for the trip home and ended up straping taped into the little carboard carrier (last trip we'll make with him without a REAL carrier). He had ear mites and received treatment for worms, ear mites, heart worm, fleas and ticks all at once. The Vet is actually a former neighbor of ours from Paradise who has a daughter, Katie, the same age as Heather. We hadn't seen him in many, many years so he was shocked to find out that Heather has four kids and has been married almost 10 years! He said Katie is an Engineer and her first baby is due soon. Maybe the girls will get to reconnect through this adventure of Storm's.
Spencer took Andrew (and all the kids, too) to Chico to the dentist today. He left fairly early and managed to stay gone all day, so Heather and I had a rare day alone to do her hair, ear ring shopping, Storm's vet appointment and we even managed to fit in a favorite movie at home. Great day!
