Not too often we get a GREAT picture of Andrew but this is now my favorite....with Papa Frank at the Boot Camp graduation. The second picture is AnnaBell brushing her teeth for the first time by herself without help....look at those curls! The third is me and the awesome baby blanket again (it IS pretty). All the pictures are pirated from Heather's blog, but wanted to share in case you don't go look at her stuff.
Our smoke is finally better---hope it lasts. We could actually see Mt. Lassen today. So far, they've lost two firefighters lives and more than 100 homes...but we're hearing that the fires are finally contained for now (still have a couple months of fire season left).
I've made it to 16.6 lbs. lost on Weight Watchers today (in 12 weeks). I've lost a total of 22 since Feb. Sure is SLOW! The program has been pretty easy---I'm sure I could be losing faster if I made different choices, but am happy at this speed since I am still able to eat out and have special meals.
Although I have an outfit for Debbie's wedding, I'm still shopping here and there trying to find something more (glutton). I found a beautiful hawaiian dress and jacket in aqua at a gently used botique....only $5. I was so tickled, I bought it even though it will have to wait until more weight comes off before I can wear it comfortably. It was a 16 (I'm coming down from the 20's dress sizes), so this is a big deal. I could wear it now, but breathing might be a problem. Actually, it fits pretty well but I would like a little more room. Pretty exciting to go down that many dress sizes with only 20 lbs.
Rog's big excitement today was getting the laser sight for his new gun....can't wait to go shooting so he can adjust it. Pretty unusual for him to spend any money on himself, so this is a fairly big deal.
Well, off to bed as it's been a long day.
