The top picture is the July block. Hurrah! Only the August block to go to "catch up". Actually, that's a long way from caught up because each block has to be appliqued....only the first have the individual machine-stitched applique on them, so there's another monster job out there to really "catch up". In order to qualify for the $50 in free supplies when we finish the quilt blocks in February, all the blocks must have the machine quilting on them. Eventually, each block will have to have borders, be put together in one quilt, have machine quilting over the three layers and THEN and only then, the embellishments can be added (i.e. the clothes line and pin clothes, buttons, trims, etc.). It's likely this puppy will actually take two years before it's completely finished.
Looks like there's a busy week coming up. I work Sat and Sun, Heather and I take George to Sacramento to see the neurologist for their weird vision issues on Monday, then I start recaps 18-19-20. So, it will be the 21st around here before things even return to semi-normal.
